aspire cambridge are seeking a talented, experienced and passionate Analyst/Developer for dynamic company, looking to substantially expand existing in-house solutions, based in the Northamptonshire area.
The successful applicants' main focus will be the maintaining and developing of the company's 3rd party Case Management System, for which training would be provided as this uses a proprietary scripting language, but also interacts with our many, .Net web-based, client-facing applications.
You will also be involved in helping the team develop and extending existing IT solutions in VB.Net/C#, ASP.Net with SQL Server, as well as actively supporting those systems and users.
In addition, the Analyst/Developer will also need to provide day to day support for our clients operatives and systems and may also be required to assist with internal hardware set-up, so any server and/or networking experience would also be advantageous.
The position would suit a Developer who enjoys interacting with clients and end users, and so good requirements gathering, and communication skills are required. Any business analysis skills would be advantageous, as the role
Skills: VB.Net, ASP.Net, SQL Server, C#, SQL, XML, Web Services, HTML, CSS
Desirable: MVC, UML, Flow Charts, Requirements gathering skills (Client facing, documentation - both technical and non-technical), jQuery, JSONdoes have a mixture of analysis and coding.
The successful applicant will be joining a vibrant and motivated company, which is always striving for customer excellence, with its IT solutions being at the forefront of achieving this, so a keen eye to detail will also be an essential skill.
Although reporting directly to the IT Director, you will also be expected to work on their own, covering all aspects of the software development lifecycle.

Salary: £35,000 to £42,000
