To support work on new products and management of existing products and strategie, reporting to the Head of Investment Structuring and Fund Formation.
Assisting with ongoing product lifecycle of funds, including launch, governance aspects, updates for regulatory change and other range enhancements.
Develop and negotiate fund documentation for new funds and amendments of existing funds, including mergers, reconstructions and transitions.
Project management and coordination of external legal counsel in conjunction with the BNY legal team.
Co-ordination with Business Development and Compliance to gain necessary regulatory approvals to market in targeted jurisdictions.
Maintenance of technical expertise in relation to funds and funds tax and understanding of evolving regulatory framework.
Build strong relationships and provide technical support to Business Development, Legal, Compliance, Global Operations, Portfolio Management, Finance and Risk teams.
Manage external counterparty relationships including but not limited to third party AIFMs, Fund Directors, Administrators, Transfer Agents and Depositories.
Experience in an asset manager, investment bank or the funds or funds tax team of a law or accounting firm
Excellent academic record with postgraduate qualification or professional qualifications (CFA, CAIA, ACA) valued
Experience in administering and operating regulated and unregulated Luxembourg, Ireland and Channel Islands funds
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with very strong attention to detail
Confident, presentable and able to interact directly and autonomously with a wide variety of investors and stakeholders.
