Salary range from £18500 to £25000 + , £2k to £5k depending on shift pattern.
The higher end of the salary scale will be for candidates offering excellent knowledge of shipping terms. The lower end of the scale will be for a person with around 12 month’s administrative experience. Hunters’ client is a large and global aircraft component specialist requiring an enthusiastic and problem-solving shipping co-ordinator to ship components to worldwide destinations. There is scope for progression and promotion at all levels.
All applicants must be flexible to work day and night shifts throughout the week. A shift enhancement is offered when the hours are unsocial, £2k to £5k depending on shift pattern.
Our client is looking for a real team player and be able to develop and maintain excellent professional relationships. The shipping administrator will assist with processing shipping orders, adhere to export controls, administration and company procedures, ensuring on time delivery and high service levels. The shipping administrator will enjoy working as part of a busy and vibrant office team.
Ideally Logistics/Shipping experience preferably gained in an aviation environment. The level of relevant experience affects the salary starting point.
Essential: A-levels A-C, a university degree or similar level qualification desirable

Analytical skills - Problem solving, logical thinking and numeracy skills
Supplier Liaising - Responsible for building successful relationships with designated suppliers through a combinations of written & telephone communication
Customer Support - Responsible for building successful relations and ensuring all suppliers/customers are fully informed with all relevant information with reference to their shipments
Internal communication - Assisting with queries and building successful relationships with all internal departments
Quality - Adhering to quality guidelines and following logistics and company procedures
Email management - Ensuring individual inboxes are organised and cleared down daily
Computer / IT systems - Good knowledge and understanding of Word, Excel outlook and Basic knowledge of all in house systems.
Travel - Occasional requirement to hand carry parts to customers worldwide. Retain a valid passport with you at all times
