Agile Programme Manager - Hayes - £90kWe are looking for an Agile Programme Manager with in depth strategic knowledge of Data, SaaS and Cloud Technologies. Please find details below:About the role
  • You'll report to the Chief Data Officer
  • Your major stakeholders include the Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Digital Officer, Chief Commercial Officer, Chief Technology Officer, Heads of the Business Verticals, Global Sales leads and Head of Research, and you'll also work closely with the Chief Product officer & Product Management team
  • This is a role for someone who understands how to work with others to get things done, across a diverse group of stakeholders
  • You will be leading the strategy and taking accountability for benefit realisation across major programmes of work. Working within SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) methodology, you will act as Epic Owner:
    • Ensure the creation of the full business case, in line with business requirements
    • Maximise local autonomy, skills and resources to unblock issues/risks so that escalations are exceptional
    • Driving all status reporting across all key product epics, and communicating status up to the senior management team and other governing bodies
    • Lead business engagement and management of communications with all stakeholders associated with their Epics
    • Capture and drive closure of Risks / Issues / Actions / Decisions
    • Initiating extra activities and other management interventions wherever gaps appear
    • Prepare and deliver dashboards for reporting and presentations for weekly Epic reviews and Portfolio Planning
  • Help upskill the team as a whole: this is a lead role in our organisation; you'll be leading by example as well as mentoring/coaching people
About you

We're a data company first and foremost, working on challenges around data collection, relevancy, delivery and consumption. You must be interested in working with us on solving those problems for our existing and potential customers.

  • Extensive experience in leading major programs from idea to launch across multiple time zones and sites
  • Excellent relationship builder, open-minded and culturally sensitive
  • Experience of Lean Agile and Scaled Agile Framework preferred
  • Experience in leading technology/data solutions programmes - working with SaaS, Cloud Computing, and/or emerging technologies
  • Ability to manage the expectations, demands, and priorities of multiple internal stakeholders based on overarching purpose/vision
  • Experience in leading customer delivery of solutions / products
  • Cross-functional experience across engineering, sales, and marketing teams in data/cloud computing or related technical fields
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and to adapt flexibly with the changing needs and direction of a rapidly-growing organization
  • Experience in various tools for management and planning
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills, having previously worked with senior leadership teams
  • You're a team player, who thrives on delivering
  • You prefer to solve a problem than to be told how to do so, at the same time you know when to ask for help
  • You can handle a complex matrix of customers and requirements, and lead teams through ambiguity to the other side
  • You've got experience with B2B and B2B2C and data-rich environments
  • Experience in Data or Analytics products is a highly beneficial
