We have an outstanding opportunity for a highly enthusiastic, passionate Agile Business Analyst to join a leading ecommerce success story based in Manchester and pull together requirements for their software development teams. It's an exciting and rare role, for an Agile BA to be involved in each project from concept to build, managing lots of interesting, cutting-edge project requirements at one time!
My client operate a purely online business and are therefore web specialists, therefore the ideal Business Analyst will have proven experience operating within an ecommerce / online retail environment. You'll also be able to demonstrate expertise in producing clear and concise user Stories and / or business and data flow diagrams, as well as experience working with creative designers or UI developers, developing wireframes and designs for stakeholder approval.
For this role, the successful Business Analyst will be an outstanding communicator, with excellent interpersonal skills due to the nature of my client's Agile teams - you'll be passionate about Agile and the associated methods, therefore a confident 'people person' who enjoys coaching and influencing colleagues is essential for this role. The Agile Business Analyst will bridge the communication between my clients large software development teams and the business; constantly updating stakeholders, utilising your ability to explain technical terms in a simple-to-understand way.
- Requirements Gathering / Management (Vision project briefs, Business Benefits, Acceptance criteria, User stories etc)
- Managing a Product backlog
- Ensuring delivery of MVP (Minimum Viable Product)
- Information Elicitation and research of requirements (Clarifying issues with Product owners)
- Adopting a 'Feature based development' approach
- Facilitate User Acceptance testing.
