To work alongside the Executive Director to develop, plan and implement a strategy to represent and promote the medical and political views of over 11,000 anaesthetists in the UK, Ireland and internationally.
To develop and deliver a campaigning and public affairs plan, in line with the organisation’s vision and strategy.
To research and analyse relevant public policy agendas, then develop policy positions and policy briefings to take forward in campaigning work.The Candidate
Demonstrable experience of advocacy and public affairs in a similar context, with Good knowledge of legal matters relating to advocacy, campaigns and public affairs, including data protection.
Experience of working with, and establishing contacts within media together with excellent verbal communication skills including the ability to engage and be credible with a range of audiences.
Experience of devising, managing and delivering projects with a systematic, self-motivated and results focused, able to undertake practical hands-on work and A clear ability to establish priorities, meet multiple deadlines and work well under pressure.
