We are seeking to appoint an occupational therapists to join our Band 7 team in the paediatric occupational therapy team in Cardiff and Vale University Health Board. The role is within the Cardiff Special schools team which is based in Ty Gwyn Special school. You will provide operational and clinical leadership and work closely with existing Band 7 occupational therapists within our special school, and with the wider community team, to ensure consistent and equitable access to occupational therapy
This role is pivotal to our vision of integrating occupational therapy support to our pupils who require specialist educational placements. We are seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic, flexible and highly motivated individual, who can implement best and evidenced based practice within this multi-disciplinary and multi-agency context
You will carry a caseload of children and young people with complex needs and be supported to develop your advanced clinical skills.
