We provide healthcare services to people living in Bridgend, Merthyr Tydfil and Rhondda Cynon Taf county borough areas, serving population of around 450,000. We are ideally situated between Wales’s capital city, Porthcawl to the west and the stunning scenery in the Brecon Beacons to the north.

This position is full time 37.5 hours per week. Job share might be considered. There will be a requirement for some weekend and evening working depending on the needs of the service. These posts will work across three localities with the CTM Health Board area to provide a consistent approach to patient care and service delivery.

The Advanced Nurse Practitioner will support the ANP Lead in the development of the mental health outpatients’ service provision across Mental Health in Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board (CTM UHB) and act as a resource in instigating and providing clinical services.

Successful candidate will function as an autonomous practitioner and Independent Prescriber, providing advanced clinical expertise, which will include aspects of both acute and chronic mental health management, and will be expected to work within their level of competence and to work flexibly as part of the team.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for his post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
