Support Workers needed ASAP for Adults Residential Homes in Brighton and Burgess Hill.
Your new company
We are currently sourcing support workers for residential homes providing services to adults and young people with learning disabilities. Due to the homes being a more specialist provider of support, they tend to be smaller in size providing services for around 5 to 15 users. The residential homes require both full and part time staff and offer opportunities for training, growth and career development.
Your new role
You'll be required to work with residents and will encourage and assist them to be as independent as possible. You will assist with the implementation of support plans, personal care, and the organisation of activities. You will support service users in all aspects of their lives both emotionally and practically.
Working closely with your colleges you will unsure the upkeep of high standards in accordance with CQC requirements. You will be flexible with hours and willing to work a variety of shifts. You will ensure the home maintains a safe working environment and ensure the safeguarding of residents by following the organisations policies, procedures and codes of practice.
What you'll need to succeed
You will require a caring, patient and helpful nature. Experience working within social care and/or with people with learning disabilities is a requirement. An enhanced DBS check will need to be completed before commencement of work, of which costs will be covered by Hays.
