Adult Support Worker - Wirral Area - £7.83 per hour plus sleep in rate and benefits

Recruiting for Care is one of the UK's leading providers of permanent recruitment solutions to the Nursing, Health and Social Care sectors and we offer bespoke consultancy services to clients and candidates alike.

My client is a leading provider of person centred care for Adults with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health and complex Needs. They specialise in residential care, supported living and other specialist services for vulnerable adults across the country. Their vision is clear, they aim to provide excellent care to their service users with a completely person centred approach in all they offer.

We are looking to recruit for a supported living service based in the Wirral. It has roughly 28 service users who have Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health and Complex needs, and we are looking for passionate, caring, experienced support workers to join the team.

It is vital that you have worked in a care setting before with Adults, and you must be willing to undertake ongoing person development. A driver is a bonus, and if you have less than 12months experience it is essential you have your NVQ Level 2 Health and Social Care qualification.

The role itself is 35 hours a week and will involve days, waking nights and sleep ins. These hours are allocated via a rota system so you must be flexible to potentially complete all of the shift patterns.

The salary for this is £7.83 per hour plus sleep in rate (first few hours at hourly rate, 12pm onward £26). You can also take advantage of a pension scheme, childcare vouchers and an excellent personal development scheme allowing you to progress within your career.

Are you looking for a new challenge, or simply for a company that invests in its staff team to allow you to develop your skills? If so we want to hear from you.
