Hays Social Care are looking for experienced Adult Support Workers for a residential home in Port Talbot.
Your new company
In your new company you will be working as an Adult Support Worker for a valued client in Port Talbot, where flexible shift cover is needed. The residential home supports young adults with various Mental Health needs. The home provides residents with personal care, therapy and social activities. You will be joining a fantastic residential care home who are focused on providing the ultimate care package to adults with Mental Health needs.
Your new role
Working on a shift basis, you will provide an essential service to support young adults, enabling them to lead independent and fulfilling lives. You will be working with our clients on a 1-1 basis or within a small team of Support Workers in a residential setting, aiming to promote their independence. To be successful within this support worker role you must be passionate about making a difference to service user's lives. If you are motivated, enthusiastic and care about helping people fulfil their potential, then you will thrive within this support worker position.
What you'll need to succeed
This is an exciting opportunity for passionate Support Workers who have previous experience in working within a Support work environment. Ideally you will have an NVQ/QCF level 2/3 or equivalent.
What you'll get in return
In return for your dedication and flexibility you will receive a competitive salary, minimum of £7.50p/h up to £9.00p/h depending on experience and qualifications. You will receive holiday pay, weekly pay and a free DBS. You will have one point of contact at Hays who will support you constantly throughout your assignments. There is parking available on site.
