Join a leading new build housing developer design team as their Assistant Engineer / Adoptions Engineer working on a range of new build developments across Suffolk and East Anglia.
Do you have housing developer, engineering consultant, infrastructure, utilities design team or local authority experience working on residential infrastructure and developments?
We are working with an award-winning housing developer looking to appoint a Civil Engineer, Assistant Engineer or Engineering CAD Technician with residential design, adoptions and design coordination experience, for their Suffolk office.
You will be involved with housing developments from the design of sites, liaising with local authorities, site visits, CAD and adoptions and coordinating with consultants. Experience in road and sewer design, utilities, geotechnical and environmental issues would be a strong advantage. The job includes site visits during construction, dealing with adoption requirements and building control submissions, health and safety and design issues for multiple sites.
Previous residential housing and section agreement experience is essential. This can be gained with another house builder, consultant design team, utilities specialist or engineering contractor. Equally, if you have good knowledge of S38, S104 and S278 agreements gained with a client or local authority perspective we’d be interested.
- A knowledge of section agreements, AutoCAD, drainage, residential road and infrastructure design.
- HNC or degree qualified in civil engineering or similar
Salary to reflect your residential experience, circa £30k - £45k plus car, bonus, healthcare, and future promotion prospects to run projects.
