We have a great opportunity for a social worker to join our dedicated adoption team. We are looking for a passionate individual who is dedicated to supporting and improving the outcomes of the children and families we work with. We have an experienced team who are consistently striving to learn and grow as a service and are looking for someone who is open to learning and developing their skills and knowledge as a social worker.

The successful candidate will join our Adoption team as a Social Worker, who is registered with Care Inspectorate Wales to recruit, train and assess Prospective and Approved Adoptive Parents. The post holder will also provide pre and post placement support to families. This includes further training for adoptive parents to meet the assessed needs of children.

NB: Whilst the Job Description makes reference to Family Placement, this role is specifically for a Social Worker in the Adoption Service.

The Social work post will be based within a Pan-Wales Service, with hybrid working you will have the flexibility to organise work priorities with work/life balance as we pride ourselves on providing all workers with a friendly, safe, and supportive environment to work in.
