Administrator Assistant - Northampton

My client a Manufacturing company based in Northampton is looking to recruit an Administrator Assistant to support the organisation and its Management team.

The role will involve duties that will include administration, reception and helping out with sales and service and working with transport to help out with deliveries.

You may from time to time be the primary point of contact to my clients customer base, working and supporting both the internal and external teams to achieve business objectives and service goals.

  • Have you proven experience of working within a Manufacturing environment?
  • Do you have great communication skills?
  • Are you both reliable & punctual, with a professional attitude towards your work?
  • Knowledge of SAGE 200 systems.


  • Answer the telephone and transferring calls to staff members.
  • Meeting and greeting clients and visitors.
  • Create and modify documents using Microsoft Office.
  • Maintain a data base of files both and soft copies .
  • Processing orders on a daily basis.
  • Organising deliveries and tracking collections.
  • Maintaining client service requests.
  • Maintain and manage inventory.
  • Supporting departments during absence and holidays.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What we would like our candidate to have


  • Knowledge of SAGE 200 systems.
  • Microsoft Office experience - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.

Salary: £19,500

The role will start on a Temp to Perm basis once both parties are happy a Permanent contract will be offered
