Job Role: Administrator
Location: Northampton, NN1
Salary: £15-000 - £17,000
Hours: 37.5 hours per week


Role Overview:
Our client is looking for a strong administrator to support their operation- update, maintain and amend case notes as per client instructions. This role will also involve liaises with clients in a professional manner both verbally and via written reporting ensuring client SLA's are agreed to. You will responsible for managing incoming and outgoing mail and handling all correspondence ensuring that it is dealt with quickly efficiently and in line with rules and regulations.

The ideal candidate will possess good interpersonal skills, excellent organisational skills and must be able to communicate in a clear and concise manner. You must be positive, self-motivated and able to work very closely with your team members.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensuring all correspondence received is prioritised
- Providing written responses to correspondence received within agreed timescales
- Responding to 3rd Party Correspondence whilst adhering to data protection
- Accurately recording and evaluating information
- Accurately inputting data and reviewing data and correspondence produced
- Updating systems
- Providing accurate balance summaries and breakdowns
- Ordering stationary supplies
- Scanning and maintaining filing
- Ensuring all email responses are sent to the correct recipient and maintaining all email files
- Ensuring all post is sent to correct address with correct postage
- Ensure a high standard of professional practice is met at all times
- Ensure overall performance and targets are met, reporting any issues to a manager
- To carry out general administrative duties
- Adhere to Data Protection Act requirements in respect of confidentiality, security and disclosure of personal data

Personal Specification (Essential):
- Good level of education 5 GCSE's A-C (including Maths & English) or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills
- IT Literate- proficiency with Windows Systems, Office Outlook
- Excellent keyboard skills- Min 50wpm
- A clear and effective communicator, both orally and in writing
- Excellent time management, planning, organisational and numerical skills
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work on own initiative, without supervision and prioritise workloads

- Previous general administration experience in an office environment
