IFA Administrator

Fareham | £27,000 – £35,000 + bonus | Hybrid working

I’m working with a privately owned, fully independent financial planning firm in Fareham that’s looking for an experienced IFA Administrator to join the team. The business offers a relaxed but professional culture, modern systems, and genuine flexibility around working hours and home/office balance.

  • Salary: £27,000 – £35,000 (depending on experience)

The role

As an IFA Administrator, you’ll play a key part in supporting the firm’s Financial Planners across all areas of client servicing and advice delivery. The role combines both technical and client-focused work, helping to ensure the advice process runs smoothly from start to finish.

Typical responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and maintaining client records and valuations on Intelligent Office (IO)
  • Managing adviser diaries and arranging client review meetings
  • Processing new business applications and tracking to completion
  • Producing client documentation, including LOAs, suitability report templates, and policy summaries
  • Liaising with providers to obtain policy information, illustrations, and quotations
  • Ensuring all compliance requirements and internal processes are followed accurately
  • Supporting paraplanners and advisers with any ad-hoc admin or client queries
  • Maintaining excellent client communication – both proactive updates and timely responses
About you
  • Experience working in an IFA or wealth management environment
  • Confident using Intelligent Office (IO) – essential
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable dealing directly with clients and providers
  • Good understanding of investments, pensions, and protection products
  • A proactive team player who enjoys being part of a close-knit, independent firm
