This is an interesting and varied role working within our IQED business. Internally we call this role a 'Case Handler’. You’ll be managing medical assessments which form part of personal injury claims, you’ll be taking responsibility for the full lifecycle of case files. This is who you are…
You don’t need to have previously worked in an office, to be successful in this role we’re looking for someone who has;
- A positive attitude and approach
- Experience of using Microsoft Word and Excel and the ability to learn in house IT systems
- Strong customer service skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- You’ll need to be organised and have the ability to manage a large workload, undertaking and completing several tasks simultaneously.
This is the job…
You’ll be responsible for managing the medical reporting and treatment requirements on behalf of claimants making different claim types, including personal injury, clinical negligence and medical negligence. This involves sourcing appropriate medical experts from an established panel, arranging claimant’s medical consultations and liaising with the claimant’s solicitor. We will need you to track the progress of your cases.
You’ll be spending your day carrying out both administrative and telephone based tasks.
The working hours for this role are Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:30 - there are no evening or weekend shifts.
