We are delighted to recruit for a large training organisation based in Carlisle. Our client is looking for an Administrator who can support the Contracts Team with all associated paperwork and compliance. The position involves providing support for specified contracts such as the Adult Education Budget (AEB) and The European Social Fund (ESF). This position is offered on a full time temporary basis for a period of 3 months and has a strong possibility of extending by a further 3 months. The role begins in September 2018 and offers a salary of £17,729 per annum.
The role will involve providing support to both learners and employers, supporting learners to complete enrolment paperwork and individual learning plans, data entry and processing, keeping up to date records (both electronic and paper based) and answering and responding to contract enquiries.
It is essential that you hold at least 5 GCSE's or equivalent qualifications at level 2 including Maths and English at grade (A-C). We are looking for someone who has the following type of experience;
- Experience of dealing with customers / members of the public in a high pressure environment.
- Experience of processing data and filing systems.
- Excellent communicator, written and orally.
- Experience in administrative work in a busy office.
- Experience of providing Information & Guidance (IAG) would be preferred but training can be provided.
- Good telephone skills.
You will need to be proficient with a range of Software packages e.g. Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Due to the nature of the role we require the successful applicant to hold strong numerical skills and a high level of attention to detail.
This role requires strong organisational and time management skills and a methodical but flexible approach to work. You will be required to work to tight deadlines therefore, you must be capable of working under pressure and show ability to provide a quality service in these situations.
Due to the nature of the job and of the client you will be required to undergo and pay for a DBS check unless you already have a DBS check on the update service.
