We are a well-established, successful, independent lettings and property management company in York looking for a dynamic and well organised Lettings Administrator to join our growing team.
The successful Lettings Administrator would be working within a team of six providing administrative assistance across the department.
No two days are the same in Lettings and Maintenance and a typical day will involve;
*Taking enquiries on properties from prospective tenants and booking viewings
*Updating property lists on the database and internet
*Giving feedback on viewings to landlords
*Dealing with any maintenance issues raised by tenants or landlords by phone / email
*Liaising with contractors regarding the maintenance issues and co-ordinating the work
*Responsibility for tracking, organising and booking gas safety checks
*Responsibility for the contractor's database including annual insurance and safety checks for all contractors
The successful Lettings Administrator will have a sunny personality and can-do attitude as well as excellent strong professional customer service skills (both face to face and over the telephone). It is essential that you are very well organised and thrive on juggling many smaller tasks at once as this job involves dealing with multiple clients on an on-going basis. A sharp memory recall is a must.
You will also have a full clean driver's license and be happy to drive the company cars. Proficiency in all MS offices packages is essential as is the ability to multitask and have a good sense of humour.
Full training will be given to the person who is the right 'fit' for this company but if you have any lettings experience that's always a bonus!
Salary is dependent upon experience; hours of work are full time, Monday to Friday as well as every third Saturday (time off in lieu for the Saturday work).
