Office Administrator- Maternity Cover - Start May - £18k
Your new company
Working for a local family business you will be a part of an established busy administration team.
You will be required to work flexibility, efficiently and as part of the admin team ensuring the smooth running operation of the office.
You will be computer literate and maintain confidentiality at all times. Be flexible and undertake tasks in all aspects of the administration at the main administration site and other office
You will also receive and make calls, serve customers and greet visitors in a polite and helpful manner.
Your new role
Day to day tasks will include
Answering telephone calls
Liaising with customers, general public and other members of staff and management
Take orders by all methods of communication
Process sales orders
Post payments onto the sales ledger account
Assist with month end
Process intake and usage reports
Process fuel usage figures
Attend health and safety meetings and prepare minutes
Attend to the enquiries emails and distribute as required
Filing, photocopying and all other general office duties
Organise the archival storage systems
Provide holiday and sickness cover
Help with refreshments within the office when visitors arrive
Help to cover during busy periods - this may include some weekends
What you'll need to succeed
You will be used to working in a busy office, be computer literate and have a flexible approach to working
What you'll get in return
This is a full time post Mon-Friday (some weekend work may be required during busy periods)
