Our client, a well known and successful organisation are looking to recruit an Administrator to Start ASAP for a period of 3 months. Sal: £13ph. Location: Waterloo.

Job Purpose:

The post holder will be a member of the Transforming Cancer Services Team (TCST) and will be required to work in collaboration with the rest of the team to meet the aims and objectives of the TCST work programme.

The post holder will provide senior level administrative support to members of the TCST (including handling of confidential or sensitive information). They will be expected to work as part of a dynamic team in delivering an effective service assisting senior managers and colleagues across the team to ensure that the service meets operational needs.

The post holder will manage their own workload on a day-to-day basis, refine departmental procedures and act independently to action and prioritise work to meet deadlines. Day-to-day responsibilities will include minuting meetings for high level and complex committees and providing professional administrative support within the department. The post holder will work in collaboration with other members of the TCST administration function, providing support and cross-cover to meet business priorities and support the delivery of the TCST work programme. The post holder will also work in collaboration with other colleagues including delivery partners and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will be a team player with varied administration experience, significant organisational skills and the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Delivery focus:
1.Provide quality, relevant and timely administrative advice to the team as appropriate.

2.Handle complex and sensitive information in the appropriate way.

3.Provide efficient and effective administrative support to the team
(including support to key pan-London meetings).

4.Be responsible for organisation of key meetings, workshops, seminars, events and training as required.

5.Lead on development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of information systems and databases including central and shared filing systems. Introduce revised procedures as necessary to increase the efficient and effective use of resources ensuring policy and statutory requirements are met.

6.Work flexibly; attend meetings or provide cover in accordance with formally agreed cover arrangements.

7.Deal with staff queries relating to HR, IT, finance and payroll issues as delegated by TCST Business Support.

8.Provide additional support to TCST work streams as required by identified priorities (and in agreement with TCST Business Support).

9.Provide support to the TCST Business Support for the checking and coding of invoices on Oracle, raising requisitions and solving queries from suppliers and from the Central London CCG Finance Department.

10.Ensure Central London CCG policies relating to sickness certification are followed and information for monthly absence report is collated and submitted in accordance with timescales.

11.Liaise with the Central London CCG HR Department if required on recruitment (including shortlisting and interviewing where appropriate), contracts and staff induction.
