We are looking for a flexible and enthusiastic individual to work on production tasks within a small team which produces career reports for students intending to move on to Higher Education. The role will involve learning the end to end production process which includes setting up tests for tutors and students, through to creation of PDF or paper reports which are then despatched to the customer.
The data entry software is bespoke, and as such, full training will be provided. However, candidates are preferably required to have the following skills:
Excellent keyboard skills
Strong attention to detail
Knowledge of Microsoft packages including using Outlook, Word, and Excel
Enthusiasm coupled with a "can do" attitude and a desire to learn all aspects of the role
The ability to communicate with customers both on the phone and by email
An organised and methodical approach to working practices
To receive requests to set up tests from customers and to set these up on the system
To help manage the production email inbox and action queries and requests accordingly
To answer the phone and deal with customer queries, or take details so that the query can be passed to the relevant people
To offer assistance to schools in advising the best way to set up their tests in a manner than suits their requirements
To report any feedback on issues, bugs or improvements to the Production Manager
To create PDF and/or paper reports which can then be despatched to the customer, including completing all the relevant checks involved in this process
To use the system to generate letters, post labels and on occasion to help with the despatch packing process as required
To work together with colleagues to help foster a culture of respect, process improvement and learning
This is an interesting role for someone looking for variety in their job. Candidates will need access to their own transport due to the location of the company.
