Location: Colwick

Hours: Monday - Friday 7am - 5pm

Salary: £8.19ph - £9.00ph

Duration: Temporary ongoing leading to permanent

Key Responsibilities:

  • Control of export shipments which includes (tracking/recording/administration)
  • Controlling incoming/outgoing loads
  • Liaising with staff on site to inform of loads arriving on site
  • Inspection of outgoing loads - securing paperwork to bales/loads - photographing each load.
  • Control of outgoing loads on spreadsheet (data entry)
  • Dealing with queries and redirection of vehicles drivers

Skills / Experience / Attributes

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following qualities:

  • Confident using excel, emails, document scanning etc
  • Attention to detail
  • Administration skills
  • Ability to prioritise work to meet with required time-scales / deadlines
  • Good communication skills at all levels
  • As this role is customer facing, must possess a good attitude and customer care awareness
  • Confident in dealing with difficult drivers or challenging customers
  • Good telephone manner
  • Be confident in explaining site rules to drivers and be able to positively challenge drivers who do not adhere to the rules
  • Ability to communicate with people whose 1st language is not English
  • Must be able to drive and have access to their own vehicle
