The Client

Established for a significant amount of time, my client has a national presence and is frequently ranked as one of the region’s largest and most progressive organisations. With branches of the business crossing many different industry areas this Compliance Administrator job would be suited for someone who wants to be an integral part of the functioning HR department, providing strong, clear and concise administration support.

The Job

You will be working as HR Compliance Administrator and reporting to the Head of Compliance. You will be tasked with assisting with the compliance administration functions of the HR department. As Compliance Administrator you will be responsible for the following;

  • Managing applicant’s right to work status
  • Checking criminal record checks
  • Ensuring compliance with pay legislation
  • checking relevant qualification requirements
  • Ensuring compliance with changes in legislation
  • Preparing accurate correspondence as required
  • Proactively participate in HR projects to develop the HR function
  • Report on management data as required
  • Maintain and report on the induction process, ensuring each new starter is successfully inducted and the process remains updated and relevant
  • Manage a high and varied workload
  • Any other administration duties as required

Skills Required

Working within the HR department you will need to demonstrate a number of key skills and attributes. These include;

  • The ability to quickly adapt to a rapidly changing situation
  • Have an inherent ability to focus
  • You must at all times maintain confidentiality
  • You must have excellent organisational skills and must be able to adhere to deadlines
  • You must be able to easily build rapport with colleagues and stakeholders and maintain these relationships
  • You must have an excellent eye for detail
  • You must be able to take instruction from senior colleagues
  • You must at all times be professional

Part time hours would be considered
