Administrator - Supply Chain
Due to internal promotion, this Administrative Supply Chain Assistant position within a very friendly, vibrant and supportive company has arisen, offering a fantastic chance for a proactive and organised person to be in a role that can offer progression and learning, as well as 25 days holiday, bonus scheme and employee benefit scheme.
Using your existing administrative knowledge, you will be working closely with and supporting the Supply Chain team in the UK and overseas offices, working with Freight Admin regarding shipping and scheduling, and liaising with Customer Account Managers and customers purchasing departments, which will allow you to prove your communication and organisational skills, generating UK On Time full monthly reports.
On a daily basis you will be inputting and maintaining forecasts and stock alert levels, running Purchase Proposals, raising and sending Purchase Orders to suppliers, having the ability to re-schedule Purchase Orders as necessary, and communicating with suppliers and overseas colleagues to ensure everyone is updated.
To be considered, you will be educated to Degree level or equivalent, with office experience which has given you the ability to carry out the tasks listed, or very quickly learn these, an excellent telephone manner, and knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.
