My client, a successful healthcare business in Liverpool is recruiting P/T Administrators to join their dynamic, friendly team. Applicants must have experience of working in an administration role, with some reception experience would be preferred..

Ensure all visitors at reception and telephone callers to the office are greeted professionally and politely

Answer all incoming phone calls from healthcare professionals, diverting them as appropriate, and/or taking and passing on messages in a timely manner

Deal with administrative queries and requests, act as liaison with the clinicians as necessary

Make/cancel/rearrange appointments via the clinical system

Support and assist clinicians as required

Ensure up to date information is recorded, adding read codes where appropriate

Give test results where appropriate

Deal with requests and completed medical reports, including the receipt of fees for such reports

Ensure all documentation is done accurately and efficiently, following office protocol at all times

Retrieve paper notes from storage unit as requested

Photocopy documents as required, deal with referrals to primary and secondary care services

Action tasks set by clinicians via the clinical systems and email

Maintain the appointment system and set up associated templates where required

Take part in performance improvement activities related to call and make follow up calls

Skills Required:

Applicants must have recent experience working in an administration role

Good standard of education

Willingness to complete qualifications related to Health and Social Care - Business Administration

Customer care experience

Possess strong administration and organisational skills

Experience of dealing with people face to face

Proficient in Microsoft office (word, excel, powerpoint)

Effectively able to manage your own time, workload and resources

Must have excellent communication and strong people skills

Must have an outgoing, proactive, persistent personality to work in this dynamic team

Company Benefits:

Permanent roles, hourly rate up to £9.75ph (depending on experience)

Hours flexible, Mon-Friday from 20-30 hours per week (on a rota system)

25 days holidays (pro rata) + bank holidays
