Admin & Bookkeeping Assistant - PART TIME

Location: Potters Bar

Hours: 8 hours per week - 2 days / 4 hours per day

Salary: up to £13 / hr

Looking for a flexible, part-time role? Our client is a small sports shoe company in Potters Bar, seeking an Admin & Bookkeeping Assistant for 8 hours per week (2 days, 4 hours per day). Ideal for parents, retirees, or anyone needing flexible work.

Job Overview
You will be providing secretarial and administrative support to the company Director. You will also be required to take care of the book keeping for this small business as well as sending out offers to contacts and advertising stock for sale online.

Responsibilities and Duties


· Providing administrative support to the Director.

· Sending offers to contacts.

· Advertising stock online.

· Preparing invoices, purchase orders, expenses and general book keeping duties, ready for

Quarterly VAT submissions

. Make payments to Utility companies, customers.

. Book travel, trains and flights as and when needed for the Director.

. Book transport and arrange shipping for goods to be shipped within the UK or UE.

. Carry our general filing, and admin duties.

. Photograph products and upload them onto spreadsheets when required for offers.

· Monitoring emails.

Qualifications


· Strong admin experience essential.

· Must have own transport and live within a 10 mile radius of Potters Bar

· Good computer skills required and must have good knowledge of the internet.

. Knowledge of Xero Software, Excel, Word, Outlook

· Some accounting/book keeping experience preferred but not essential.

· Cheerful and friendly disposition.

Hours: 2 days per week, 4 hours per day

Rate: £12.21-£13.00 per hour
