Our client, a market leader in the UK utilities sector, currently has an exciting opportunity for an administrator to join their Edinburgh based administration team. This is for a period of 6 months which may be extended.
Based within our clients modern and vibrant offices in Newbridge, you will be involved in work where you will work within a team to problem solve, provide solutions and improvements. This will involve using good communication skills, the ability to work within a team and will also involve administration as well as a small amount of customer contact as you will be contacting people on various levels to carry out certain tasks.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the importance of providing good customer service, be comfortable using word, excel and databases and be able to work on their own initiative and also be a team player.
We require someone with excellent attention to detail, organisation and good telephone manner.
Day-to-day tasks will include:
-Operating office systems in order to process work, maintain accurate records and access information.
-Resolve enquiries from both internal/external sources, providing written and verbal responses as necessary.
-Compile standard statistical data, using computer systems/applications as necessary, in accordance with the relevant procedures and guidelines in order to provide Management Information (MI).
-Ad Hoc administrative tasks as required.
The starting pay rate for this vacancy is £8.14 per hour and will rise to £8.71 on successful completion of your 12 week probation period. All successful candidates must be able / prepared to commute to Newbridge on the outskirts of Edinburgh.
