The successful candidate:
We are looking for candidates with effective verbal and written communication skills, including excellent writing skills ideally developed through taking notes and/or minutes at meetings, a good level of numeracy and a sound understanding of customer service provision. You will have experience of providing a high-quality administrative service, delivering core business processes to agreed performance standards, within either the public or private sector.
You will be a confident user of business ICT systems to at least intermediate level including an intermediate to advanced level knowledge of using Excel and other Office programmes. Responsive and customer-focused, you will also have a flexible approach to service delivery and willingness to learn new skills.
The fast paced nature of the field requires you to be highly organised and able to manage and prioritise a varied workload. The Senior Business Support Officer role also involves mentoring Business Support Officers within the team and working with the Business Support Team Leaders to deliver allocated tasks and work priorities within a changing environment to meet tight deadlines on a daily basis.
You will be expected to receive a clear DBS
