Job Purpose

To act as a liaison between clients and creditors prior to, during and after the meeting of creditors. To compile all necessary paperwork according to current legislation.

  • Preparation of relevant paperwork for the meeting of creditors
  • Obtain correct balances from creditors
  • Communication with the client during the creditor meeting process
  • Development of relationships with creditors
  • To obtain and collate proxy votes
  • To log all claims and proxies received on relevant system
  • Production of relevant documents after the meeting of creditors
  • Update the relevant systems (CCS/SIVAS/Iolite/spreadsheets/diary)
  • Notification to all regulatory bodies, creditors and clients concerning the outcome of the meeting of creditors within the statutory timescales
  • Liaise with the client and the creditor in the event of modifications/adjournments of the meeting of creditors
  • Maintain case file in accordance with department policies
  • Issuing RX1 forms to clients
  • Set up Direct Debits with clients
  • Prompt transfer of failed cases to Debt Management Sales

Key Skills

  • Computer literate with a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook)
  • We will accept trainees internally
  • Excellent organisational and administration skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Used to working to targets in a pressured environment
  • Ability to work well as an individual and as a member of a team
  • Knowledge of the debt management industry
  • Knowledge of current Insolvency legislation
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Good attention to detail and high degree of accuracy in data input and processing
  • An excellent timekeeper with a flexible approach to meeting the needs of our customers
