PERMITS2WORK is an established UK immigration firm specialising in legal services to corporate and private clients. We are seeking a talented, experienced and highly organised person to assist the team with their caseload and correspondence to relevant government authorities.

This is a challenging and exciting role which offers the right candidate the opportunity to become part of a small and niche team, ensuring that the firm continues to provide a high level of service to clients. Further opportunities exist for the right candidate who can demonstrate an aptitude for the role.

Job description:

  • Managing and drafting important email, telephone and written correspondence on behalf of caseworkers to corporate and private clients, and UK Government departments
  • Maintaining and updating electronic and paper filing systems in an efficient and logical manner
  • Preparing, copying and processing letters, documentation and files for a variety of confidential matters.
  • Mailing, faxing, or arranging for delivery of legal correspondence
  • Carrying out initial reviews of legal correspondence, liaising with client as required
  • Office administration tasks together with diary and travel management
  • Performing secretarial and administrative duties as and when required

Requirements:

The successful applicant will be expected to have all of the following skills:

  • Highly organised with strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proven discretion with highly confidential information / documents
  • Ability to work quickly and effectively internally and externally
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
