Administrator - Investor Support 

Marlborough Fund Managers Limited was formed in 1986. The wider Marlborough Group consists of a number of businesses which provide products and services in the Financial Services arena. The Group continues to see strong positive organic growth and will look to continue to expand through further acquisitions where this is viable. The Marlborough Group has in excess of £9 Billion under management in a mixture of unit trusts, open ended investment companies (OEICs) and discretionary management portfolios. 

Position: Investor Support Administrator 
Location: Head Office, Bolton 
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent 
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm 
Salary: £14,000 to £18,000 per annum 

About the role: 

The Administrator will provide exceptional levels of support, as the first point of contact for the Company. 


- Be sufficiently fluent in many technical aspects of collective investment scheme administration 
- Service Investor questions and queries 
- Resolve all queries within 24 hours; 
- Prepare interim and annual accounts, financial statements and reports 
- Prepare and dispatch distribution warrants, tax vouchers and reports 
- Preparation and distribution of large mailshots and statement runs 
- Responsible for stock maintenance and ordering 
- Produce accurate reconciliations of warrant logs 
- Complete accurate reconciliations of distribution bank accounts 
- Produce dividend tax vouchers and payments in various formats 
- Calculate and reconcile distributions 
- Provide external sources with accurate dividend information 
- Assist with the preparation of interim and final accounts 
- Respond to payment and other distribution queries 
- First point of contact for high net worth Investors 
- Client registration administration, including updating in house database system to ensure client data integrity 
- Generating and distribution of client statements 
- Providing platforms with monthly valuation reports 
- Obtaining client information relating to complaints 
- Archiving, both sending and retrieving files from off site 
- Responsible for managing the incoming and outgoing post 
- Producing daily / weekly / monthly reports and sending these to the associated companies and / or brokers 

About you: 

- 5 GCSE’s Grade A-C (must include Mathematics and English) 
- Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous 
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
- Accurate data inputting skills 
- PC literacy and internet skills 
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft package 
- Ability to work under pressure to close deadlines 
- Ability to be flexible and learn quickly
