Administrator - Executive Support Team

The Executive Support Team provides vital, efficient and professional support to the Senior Leadership Team here at UCEM. In the main, you will work with and support the Executive Assistant to the Principal in an administration capacity, however you will be expected to help and assist all team members with administration tasks.

What is a typical day? Busy! You will undertake a wide-range of administration tasks from routine jobs, to tasks which require you to use your initiative and demonstrate your capability to get the job done. You will use MS Office to the maximum (particularly Outlook, Word and PowerPoint) and be involved in:

  • Dealing with incoming enquiries (face-to-face, phone, email), providing excellent customer service at all times;
  • Providing meeting support (drafting and formatting documents, printing, preparing meeting packs);

  • Managing diaries and room bookings (and all that goes with this!);

  • Providing general office support including filing, maintaining records, issuing newsletters, and helping with events (plus more);

  • Developing systems, including putting your mark on new systems to help the efficient running of the team.
