Financial Services Administrator - Client Services
Location: Bristol
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum

Ambridge Harris are supporting our client with the recruitment of an experienced Financial Services Administrator. The firm are an independently owned provider of financial advisory, investment management and accountancy services to private and corporate clients.

They offer a variety of bespoke financial planning services, ranging from basic to complex financial reviews and advice in connection with providing for retirement, extracting retirement income, tax and investment planning.

Key responsibilities:
Client Servicing
* Deal with the administration for client benefit schemes
* Prepare written reports and suitability letters relating to client specific cases
* Liaise with relevant parties including insurers, payroll administrators etc. to ensure that benefits are installed properly
* Researching product markets in connection with client specific requirements
* Obtaining illustrations from insurers along with technical information, performance enquiries and general provider information
* Analysing raw data to assist advisers in making client recommendations
Client Liaison
* Deal with client requests, refer to Advisers where appropriate
* Deal with clients by telephone, e-mail, face to face and in writing, in a timely and professional manner
* Organise and monitor the timely production of fee invoices
Regulatory Compliance
* Meet all regulatory and departmental requirements (as detailed within the role profile)
Administration and Record Keeping
* Manage records and data appropriately in line with Group policy
* Ensure comprehensive client records are kept and that these are accurate and up to date at all times

Key Competencies:
* Analytical Thinking: Must be able to analyse client information and highlight requirements to make suitable recommendations
* Communication skills: Must be able to deal with people at all levels (internally and externally including clients) and be able to put ideas over clearly and professionally. Good grammar and spelling so as to be able to produce concise, well-structured documents, taking into account the requirements of the reader
* Customer Focus: Must put clients' needs first and deal with them efficiently.
* Planning and Organising: Must organise his / her own time to prioritise work, meet deadlines and multi-task
* Teamwork: Must encourage effective teamwork and collaboration within department
* Technical Expertise: Must maintain high degree of technical awareness and keep up-to-date with technical developments and legislative changes. This will ensure that any advice given is appropriate

Candidate Profile

* Strong academic history
* Relevant professional qualifications an advantage, although not essential
Key Experience/Skills:
* Previous Financial Services administration experience is essential for this role
* Must be able to use their initiative
* Good communication skills, both verbal and written
* Experience of report and letter writing
* Ability to work well in pressurised environment with the ability to prioritise work
