Band 3 Administrator, Burnley, £8.97 per hour, 37.5 hours per week, temporary contract.
Your new company
You will be working for a large trust in Wigan which provides health care services across the region. The trust are looking for an administrator to support the managers and staff members in this region in the coming winter months as the demand on the service grows. You will be working amongst a small, close team for the UK's largest employer playing a crucial role in maintaining and managing correspondence.
Your new role
In your new role you will be working in a fast paced environment in a healthcare industry. Your daily work life will revolve around meeting and sticking to deadlines and managing workload. Daily responsibilities will include inputting sensitive data and information into Microsoft Excel and in-house systems, managing correspondence such as documents and organising reports, diary management and minute taking. Other administrative duties include liaising with patients and staff members on the phone; dealing with queries, communication specific information to stakeholders and inputting data.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in this role you will need a strong attention to detail to ensure a high quality of work. This is due to you having to input delicate and sensitive information. Additionally, you need to have the ability to work under pressure. Within this public sector environment you will be measured on targets and your ability to complete work to a sufficient time frame, therefore being able to work under pressure is fundamental in this role. Furthermore, you should have previous experience using data input systems such as Microsoft Excel and other in-house systems. Finally, you need recent experience in minute taking and diary management.
