Global Telesat Communications is a rapidly expanding supplier of satellite communications equipment including satellite phones and GPS trackers. We have an online presence in 12 countries and over 25,000 customers located in more than 125 countries around the world.
We are recruiting for an Administrative Assistant to provide backup to our sales and shipping departments. The position is based in our Poole office with working hours of 8:45 AM to 5:15 PM and free parking. Additional paid hours, possibly during evenings and weekends, may be required occasionally during busy periods.
The role involves a variety of general duties such:
- Assisting customers with enquiries by phone and email
- Processing, packing and shipping orders
- Preparing customer invoices
- Providing backup support to our online sales team
- General admin related tasks
The ideal candidate should have excellent organisational and mathematical skills, a good telephone manner, and be able to work under pressure in a small team environment. We require a candidate having experience with Microsoft Office products, the ability to learn a variety of new skills quickly, and a confident, professional and friendly manner when communicating with colleagues and customers.
