Administrative Assistant - Fixed Term Contract

We are looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant to join Vicaima on a Fixed Term Contract to cover Maternity Leave.Working within estimating at Vicaima means you are the start point for our customer’s experience. Candidates should be highly motivated, punctual, reliable, well organised and have a good attention to detail.Full training will be provided to enable candidates to successfully integrate into the team.

Duties will include:

  • Booking in enquires from our customer base

  • Finding missing details from the relevant person to allow completion of enquiries

  • Producing price requests for non-standard items

  • Prioritising outstanding enquiries

  • Booking out completed enquiries

  • Producing chase lists for the Area Sales Managers

  • Follow up quotes up to £25k (including OTP and Tenders) on regular basis then update Quotation Log with comments.

Essential Skills:

  • NVQ Level 2, GCSE C or above (or equivalent) in English and MathsSound working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

  • Good numeracy/literacy skills
  • Organized, focused and hardworking
  • Good co-ordination skills, able to prioritise and multi task
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Adaptable to changes, being reactive to urgent requests as well as being proactive
  • Good communication skills
