 I am currently recruiting for an Audio Typist to work within the NHS.

This role is an Immediate start and is full time Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

Candidate should have experience in the following

The role will provide proactive and comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the CNDS multi-disciplinary clinical team.

The clinical team generate a large quantity of long and complex assessment reports. The majority of these reports are submitted via the digital dictation system and need to be processed in an accurate and timely manner.

You will also be responsible for processing referrals received by the service and requesting and monitoring all associated paperwork.

It is essential that the post holder has previous experience working in a secretarial role and will be able to meet/demonstrate the following:

Advanced typing skills to be able to produce long and complex reports from audio transcription maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Experience of using Microsoft Office applications in particular Word and Excel

Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, dealing with patients, carers and professionals, in some cases where there are barriers to communication or understanding

Knowledge and experience of working with confidential information preferably within a NHS setting and the importance of protecting this information

Proactive and comprehensive secretarial support to the clinical team

Confident and competent in the organising, preparation and servicing of meetings

Demonstrate excellent organisational skills and have experience of maintaining admin systems

Demonstrate the Trust’s Vison and Values in every aspect of their practice and actively build relationships with others

Take personal responsibility for making things happen
