Our client is lead partner in an innovative Worcestershire consortium, Fusion. Fusion have been successful in securing funding from the European Social Fund and The National Lottery Community Fund to deliver the Building Better Opportunities (BBO) programme across the County.

The local BBO programme has been shaped by the Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership, and the National Lottery Community Fund is matching funds from the European Social Fund (ESF) 2014-2020 to invest in local projects tackling the root causes of poverty, promoting social inclusion and driving local jobs and growth. The project is currently in its third year and has recently received notification of a contract extension due to its success to date.

This success has come from the Worcestershire principal Housing Associations, Redditch Borough Housing and a range of specialist Voluntary Sector Organisations working together to establish the Fusion consortium. Fusion offers managing agents such as the European and UK Government a local solution for national programmes.

To take forward this success our client is seeking to appoint an experienced Administration Officer for the Building Better Opportunities (BBO) contract to provide high performance administrative and contract management support to the Performance and Quality Compliance Managers, and wider team.

High standards and excellent communication skills are essential to working in a high-performance driven department. You will be passionate about making a difference and have strong occupational competence to assist you to work towards the agreed BBO compliance guidelines and a thorough internal quality framework to ensure all submissions for funding are compliant and can withhold external audit and scrutiny.

This post is a 24-month fixed term contract, depending on start date and will be funded by the European Social Fund and The National Lottery Community Fund. This is a challenging post and will require you to be innovative. You will be part of a dedicated team that provides a high-quality service and an organisation that is committed to valuing and supporting its employees and the local community.
