Administration Assistant
Up to £16,000 per annum – Full-Time permanent role
Based in Central Edinburgh

One of Reed’s clients based in Edinburgh City Centre is currently looking to recruit an Admin Assistant on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive basic admin support to the business.

Duties involved in this role will include:-
• Answering incoming calls to the business, dealing with basic queries
• Opening and distributing mail to the appropriate staff members
• Checking invoices and matching to delivery notes
• Daily drops to both the bank and Royal Mail
• Preparing letters and basic documents
• Updating internal systems with information received from customers and suppliers
• Management of recycling and shredding for the office
• Various ad hoc admin duties including filing, photocopying and meeting prep
• Occasionally making teas & coffees for meetings

In order to be considered for this role, candidates must have the following:-
• Previous relevant experience within an administration role carrying out duties comparable to the above – this experience is essential
• A solid grasp of IT systems including Word and Excel
• Excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage a varied workload effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – written, verbal and face to face
