Finance Administration Assistant
Location: Newport (NP10)
Salary: £18,500 per annum (Plus 3% flexible benefits package)
Contract: 6 month FTC

If so, we are currently looking for a number of Administration Assistants to join SSCL and expand the purchase to pay team supporting a number of our Government clients invoicing and payment process. To find out more, read on!

Who are we?
Established in 2013, SSCL (Shared Services Connected Limited), is a joint venture between Sopra Steria and the Cabinet Office.
We have an enviable track record in the design and delivery of large scale business support solutions including HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, Procurement and Administration for our long list of clients including The Department for Work and Pensions, Environment Agency Department for Education, Ministry of Justice, Met Police and the Home Office.

Key Responsibilities
·Matching, processing and payment of large quantities of invoices for a wide number of clients of SSCL
·Resolve queries, escalate as necessary (i.e. a team leader/manager/other group), and log if appropriate.
·To schedule and prioritise allocated work on a daily basis.
·Distribute information and when required, work to the other team members or groups.
·Support line management on any additional admin when required.
·Liaise with internal/external clients.
·Maintain and update information held on an internal data base or manually.

·Good understanding Microsoft Office and previous experience using internal systems (ideally finance related)
·Previous finance administration or invoicing experience

This role will require successful candidates to go through an SC Clearance.
