Admin & Reprographics Officer

Starting salary: United Learning Support Staff, Band 2 - £24,389 f.t.e.

Actual salary for term time only 39 weeks per year, 37.5 hours per week: £20,950

Sedgehill has converted to academy status and formally became part of United Learning Trust on 1 September 2020; this is a time of exciting and positive change and we are now on a journey of huge improvement across all areas. One of the vital areas that has been restructured, streamlined and is in the process of being made more effective is the administration and business support side of the academy.

The role

Sedgehill is urgently seeking an Admin and Reprographics Officer to support the newly appointed Operations Manager and Office Manager & Receptionist with the administration and reprographics support of the academy. The Admin & Reprographics Officer will be responsible for all of the curriculum reprographics support as well as supporting the front office with reception and administration tasks. Strong organisational and customer service skills including the ability to communicate effectively at all levels is a high priority.

The role will support the Office Manager & Receptionist in managing the day to day running of the office and reprographics area, ensuring a smooth and efficient service to all academy stakeholders.

About you

The successful candidate will be qualified to level 3 in Business Administration and have GCSE English and Maths or equivalent or have equivalent experience and will have the ability to work effectively under pressure, both independently as well as part of a team. Schools experience is not a necessity however outstanding communication and interpersonal skills are crucial. A high level of customer service and a bubbly personality are fundamental to this role as is an ability to meet weekly deadlines and deal successfully with students, staff and parents alike.
