Ad Ops Specialist

A fantastic opportunity to work with a highly regarded online publishing organisation based in Canary Wharf. This role offers the opportunity to learn and implement a brand new advertising solution whilst working in a high-performing Advertising Operations team, responsible for day-to-day technical ad support across multiple online businesses including troubleshooting ads (Creatives), deep-dives into 3rd party discrepancies, vendor vetting and on-boarding. This is a 12-month maternity contract plus benefits and access to the internal vacancies list as a progression option.

Please note: Experience with DoubleClick for Publishers (Google Dart) is essential for this role and applicants lacking this experience cannot be considered for this role.What will you be doing?Technical Support
  • Identify potential errors, and troubleshoot as necessary
  • Provide technical support, within scope, to all online businesses, the business development team, the Global Advertising Operations Manager & Network Operations Manager (ad-hoc) and with the implementation and testing of custom ad units
Creative QA & 3rd Party Discrepancies
  • Test new 3rd party vendors
  • Troubleshoot ads (Creatives) and ad tech when they don't work as expected and discrepancies with Network Partners
  • Take deep dives into discrepancies - viewability, 3rd party delivery
  • Provide day-to-day QA support
  • Help manage the production process for custom ad units deploying on approved partners
Projects/Site Development
  • Update & stay up-to-date with latest ad specs
  • Ensure new products are set up & working correctly
  • Work with development teams on implementation
  • Provide technical site analysis
What are we looking for?
  • Expert knowledge of DFP & trafficking using Doubleclick DART (ESSENTIAL)
  • Expert level understanding of trafficking, ad tags, tracking pixels etc.
  • Publisher-side Ad Operations experience
  • Network and programmatic experience (highly desired)
  • Experience working with DSM (highly desired)
  • Intermediate HTML/CSS and JavaScript (highly desired)
  • Knowledge of Data Management Platforms, and the use of data
  • Experience of working remotely and with cross-regional sales teams
  • Experience working with development teams
  • Understanding of viewability standards and setups
  • Understanding of the Native ad landscape
  • Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint (Pivots and Formulas)
  • Using MOAT platform
  • Developer/Debugging tools
