Aon are currently recruiting an Actuarial Analyst to join our Non-Marine Property team in London. The Analyst will be primarily responsible for technical modelling and financial analysis for a range of international insurers and classes (Specifically Marine, Energy and other specialty lines). They will be responsible for both the technical delivery of work and the communication of findings with brokers and clients.

As an Analyst some of your key responsibilities will involve:
Reinsurance pricing and analysis, through data collection and analysis, model build and testing, report writing, documentation and delivery:
Preparing and delivering documentation
Presenting analysis and reinsurance advice to clients
Working collaboratively in a team environment with colleagues and client stakeholders:
Communicating in a collaborative and client focused manner.
Identifying opportunities to work more efficiently and take on additional responsibility.
Contributing to research and development work within Aon Benfield as the thought leader in financial risk management.
Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.
As an Analyst your skills and qualifications will include:
Highly numerate graduate with a minimum 2.1 degree or equivalent
Analytical skills – strong data analysis and manipulation. Expert user in Excel and other Microsoft Office products
Making good progress in CII or Actuarial qualification
Strong communicator – presenting complex ideas simply internally to external clients
Strong time management skills – managing several projects at the same time
