ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Children’s Activity Leader to join our dedicated team. This role provides a fun and rewarding opportunity to take an active role in helping our little guests to thoroughly enjoy the activities that we have to offer.
You will lead a variety of leisure activities, ensuring the highest standards are maintained to give the best possible experience to our guests. Whilst providing a high standard of childcare, you will also be responsible for providing a safe environment for all guests. With a wide range of children, family and adult activities available, you will be responsible for looking for opportunities to ensure the guests' requirements are always met and naturally seek out opportunities to exceed their expectations.
The ideal candidate will have a naturally outgoing and enthusiastic personality, with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
Due to the sensitive nature of this role the successful applicant will be required to apply for disclosure with the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly CRB). This disclosure, together with other selection information, will need to be satisfactory to the Company for employment to commence.
HOURS OF WORK
Please note this is a weekend only contract.
You will be contracted to work 60 hours per 4 week period on a flexible basis. This means that your hours and days of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period.
As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours may include working bank holidays and during Christmas and/or New Year on a rota basis.
- Experience of working with children
- Naturally outgoing and enthusiastic personality
- To demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with both adults and children in groups of different sizes
- Naturally cheerful
- Experience of working within the customer care industry
- Previous activity leadership experience
- Confidence to demonstrate new skills to a group of participants (children/adults)
