Salary £8.25 per hour


Golding Grange - 1x 15 hours (female only applicants to provide personal care) working Tuesdays and Wednesdays + Relief hours available

JT Project (Hill House) - 1x 22 hours + Relief hours available

About us

emh care & support help older people and people with a learning difficulty or a disability to live an enjoyable, independent life. They do this by advocating on their behalf and by providing activities, support, care, and housing that matches their needs.

emh care & support also provide diverse housing and supported living services to a range of people whose circumstances have made their lives or their housing vulnerable such as teenage parents; older people; and homeless people.

The role

We are now recruiting Activities Organisers to provide high standards of care and support for service users with a learning difficulty or a disability, in line with care and support plans and the organisation’s policies and procedures.

The Activities Organiser role will involve providing a wide range of activities and experiences for adults with learning difficulties, promoting individual rights and personal dignity for service users, while providing them with every opportunity for physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual development.

The ideal candidate

The successful candidate will be an effective communicator with good administrative and organisational skills. Experience in providing practical support and training to people undertraining new tasks is essential and experience working with adults with learning difficulties would be advantageous.

A flexible approach to working hours is required and the candidate must be able work and manage their workload independently. A knowledge and awareness of equal opportunities and the need to maintain a high level of confidentiality are essential.
