Pay - up to £8.03 per hour dependent on age

What you’ll be doing
You will be organising a programme of appropriate and achievable, as well as therapeutic and recreational activities to enhance the lives and well-being of residents in our care home. To drive and support health initiatives in the home
Where you will be working
Located within easy access of the market town of Mansfield, The Grange provides specialist residential and respite care in a warm and friendly environment.
What you’ll need:
Strong interpersonal skills
Experience of working with vulnerable people
Experience of delivering activities in a group setting
Ability to write concise and compelling copy
Experience of forging and building strong relationships
Able to use Microsoft Word and Excel
Experience of producing reports and newsletters
Understand the needs of elderly people
Experience of using the internet for research

Be a passionate member of the Care team, with a desire to help others and make a difference to our resident’s lives ensuring activities are delivered with dignity, respect and fairness
Be polite, friendly, warm and supportive of a resident’s individual needs
Enjoy a busy environment ensuring the home is pleasant and welcoming at all times
Ability to communicate with older people and be interested in their needs
Either have experience, or a willingness to learn more, about dementia and how to support residents
The ability to encourage teamwork and support the team to deliver outstanding care
Eager to complete all training relevant to your role
