We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and engaging individual with the ability to inspire a culture of sustainable travel behaviour in children and young people across South Yorkshire in order to improve health and wellbeing. The post holder will work with the local authorities in the delivery and promotion of active travel to schools as well as providing one to one support for schools and the work they do to promote active, sustainable travel.
We invite applications from candidates with a passion for sustainable transport and physical activity, coupled with excellent communication and presentation skills, experience of delivering practical projects and the enthusiasm to inspire behaviour change. Experience of successful partnership working, organising, promoting and delivering events is required as is excellent administrative and organisational skills.
£23,000 per annum pro rata - contract to 30th Nov 2019 with possible extension to 31st March 2020
Rotherham - 37.5 hours per week
Doncaster - 15 hours per week
