As this company’s Acquisition Marketing Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting their ambitious growth plans. You will develop and implement their overall paid media plan to deliver against volume and financial KPIs whilst strengthening and supporting brand metrics. You’ll be their day-to-day lead in managing their media agency relationship and contract. As a data and insight obsessed direct response professional you’ll seek out creative ways to enhance campaign ROI across both offline and online media channels. You’ll be a natural at creating great partnerships both internally and externally.

What you’ll be doing;

  • You’ll own and implement their paid media plan by planning and executing high performing multi-channel campaigns across digital and offline channels for their portfolio of brands. You’ll ensure media strategy and plans are aligned with marketing objectives and broader business objectives
  • You’ll be their day-to-day lead for their media agency, responsible for creating hard working relationships that ensure they receive the strongest calibre of strategy, planning and buying. You will brief, plan, track, and optimize campaigns; working to achieve target volumes and CPAs
  • As their lead for all lead generation programmes you’ll continuously research and develop business cases for new test activities to unlock incremental profit. You’ll design, develop and evaluate test and learn strategies to draw clear conclusions and recommendations from all activities.
  • You’ll identify big insights by synthesising outputs from multiple data sources to unlock growth opportunities; including analytics, research, and customer listening tools. You’ll forge great partnerships with Sales & Marketing, Business Intelligence, Global Marketing, CX and Digital teams to keep at the forefront of new insight and data streams across their business
  • With a curiosity and hunger for rigorous analytical outcomes you’ll ensure robust tracking - tagging and trafficking, measurement and attribution protocols are in place to determine the incremental value of every campaign and its true ROI. Alongside Business Intelligence, media agency and central analytics team you’ll draw thorough conclusions and recommendations from all activities
  • You’ll work in partnership with marketing team colleagues to inform the creative brief for each channel, and project manage the development of assets as needed
  • You’ll be well versed in current and emerging trends in media, acquisition and marketing, with a thirst for knowing more
  • You’ll own and evolve their brand tracking programme
  • You’ll be at ease managing a large marketing budget with effective cost controls
  • You’ll play an active role in their global marketing community to understand best practice and to share their successes and failures. Once or twice a year this may involve some international travel.

You will need to have/be;

  • Highly analytical, numerate and commercially minded
  • Proven track record of delivering multi-million budget campaigns that deliver profitable growth
  • Strategic thinker
  • Data literate and curious - a natural at interpreting data to unlock insight for commercial advantage
  • Digital expert
  • TV, radio, programmatic & paid social (prospecting and retargeting), affiliates, email marketing, bid management tools experience desirable
  • Adept at interacting with a wide range of audiences

Required for the role;

  • Several years’ experience in B2C acquisition/direct response marketing
  • Proven media / digital agency management skills
  • Advanced Excel
  • Google Analytics 360 suite knowledge (advantageous)
