Penguin Recruitment is proud to be representing a leading independent acoustics firm in their search for an Acoustic Consultant to assist in providing first class testing, consultancy, and design services to a range of clients across London and the South East!

My client also offers acoustic material recommendation services to clients in the way of soundproofing solutions which consultants are also welcomed to get involved in. Most of my clients' site/project work is based around London and the South East so candidates should be happy commuting around these locations.

Requirements:

Candidates should have demonstrable experience working as an Acoustic Consultant with a track record of undertaking Sound Insulation Tests and BB93 assessments. You are expected to hold or be working towards Institute of Acoustics membership. A full UK driving licence is essential for this position as you will need to complete occasional office visits. Candidates should be educated to degree level in Acoustical Engineering or another relevant discipline.

Duties:

Duties will include mentoring of Junior Consultants, acoustic design services, Sound Insulation Testing, noise at work assessments, vibration assessments, technical report writing, project management, preparation of fee proposals and Continued Professional Development.
